A Different Kind of Week

Ahhh, I’m glad it’s Friday.  It means we’re going home.

Lots of stuff this week: a flight to Atlanta, catching up with two sets of college friends (and their babies!!  *swoon*), lots and lots and lots of Mucinex, a clinic visit (Mucinex just couldn’t save poor T’s sinuses), long hours at work (T), long hours reading, writing, and various and sundry other adventures (me), a broken furnace on the home front (sorry, Pop), and two huge bags of laundry to do the minute I get home.

Sometimes it’s nice to have a bit of a change to the old routine.

It really makes you appreciate ‘normal’ that much more.

Or at least that’s how it’s worked for me.

But I’m still holding out hope for a Chik-fil-A peppermint milk shake before things return too much to their old routine….  🙂

Glad you made it back safely! Hopefully you were a dutiful wife and immediately washed the socks, especially. 🙂

hahaha…you know it. I had a load of laundry going by 7:30 the next morning….and Tim walked around in sandals until it was dry. 😀
